Children and Youth Literacy

Children and youth literacy programs aim to enhance reading, writing, numeracy, social, and functional skills.  Programs are designed to promote  self-esteem and the tools needed to learn how to work effectively with others.  

Programs are free for youth and children to attend and may include, but are not limited to:
  • writing classes
  • intergenerational cafes
  • homework clubs
  • afterschool programs
  • one to one children's reading
